Venison Stew

Ingredients

* 2 to 3 pounds venison cubed
* 1 can beef broth (10 ounce)
* tomato juice (about 12 ounce)
* 1 1/2 to 2 pounds potatoes cubed
* 2 onions chopped
* 5 celery stalks chopped
* 3 carrots chopped
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Worcestershire sauce to taste

nwtf-recipevenison_stew_tnail1Combine venison, beef broth, potatoes, onions celery and carrots in a large stew pot. Add enough tomato juice to cover ingredients. Bring everything to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer until tender.

Works great in a slow cooker. Just combine ingredients and cook on low all day to enjoy a ready meal.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings
